Inter-Library Loan Journal Request

The Library offers NO rush services. You will need to make your "needed by" date at least 3 weeks in the future or you may cause a computer controlled delay in the delivery of your request. Most articles are mailed to you within 10 days of your request. Requests must be for items needed for work or study at UCSF and not owned by the Library. There is no charge for books obtained from another UC campus. If your request requires a search outside the UC system, we will respond with further instructions. Items borrowed from non-UC libraries average $15 per article. Please enter only one journal artice per request form. Entire journal issues cannot be obtained. Please type out the full name of journal titles, use of abbreviations may slow processing time. After 7 working days you may request a status report on your loan request by contacting: Information Assistance at 415-476-8272, or borrows@library.ucsf.edu
